How It Works

THE UNTIE THE KNOTS®
Optimal Performance Model
(12 Steps to Achieving Optimal Success)

Step 1: Identify & Untie Your Toxic Knots
Identify the barriers that are creating tied-up and delayed results within your organization. Diagnose yourself and organization on all levels, honestly, to prepare you and it for The Knots Free Standard.

Step 2: Alleviate & Remove Toxic Habits, Choices, People & Relationships
Alleviate and remove toxic habits, choices, people, and relationships that keep you putting out ordinary work and sub-standard results. Set free your hidden resources and use them to break through barriers to the optimal results you want.

Step 3: Distinguish & Measure The Important Things
Distinguish and measure The Important Things by developing a clear definition of what is and is not important to you and your organization. Shape your own future instead of leaving it to the outside influences of other people or circumstances.

Step 4: Streamline Communications on Alls Levels
Streamline effective communication with others to not only accomplish more, but also raise the levels of trust, morale, passion, productivity and performance within your team. Learn to communicate honestly, constructively and consistently so that everyone across the organization will build better rapport and gain the trust of their team members.

Step 5: Align Healthy Habits & People with Goals & Values
Align healthy habits and people with the clear goals and values of the organization to make it a more healthy, productive, profitable, competitive, harmonious and significant environment. Share, teach, coach and champion the organizational vision to bring everyone onboard with the direction of the company.

Step 6: Quit Marking Time—Move Forward with The R.I.G.H.T. Habits & People
Move forward with the R.I.G.H.T. habits and people to influence and motivate everyone toward optimal performance. Maximize everyone’s efforts by ensuring that you take the time to carefully select and keep onboard people who are Relevant, Innovative, Gutsy, Healthy and Timely for generating optimal results.

Step 7: Commit to Change and The Pursuit of Excellence
Commit to Change and The Pursuit of Excellence so you can communicate a change culture that will gain greater commitment. Learn how to use a step-by-step process (with supporting tools) for leading successful change and the daily practice of excellence.

Step 8: Make Continuous Peak Performance "A" Standard
Make Continuous Peak Performance “A” Standard to constantly close the gap between the current and desired performance standard. Develop a common vision and service delivery standard for all employees.

Step 9: Build Accountability
Build Accountability – continuously – to build employee morale, improve employee productivity, and enhance customer experiences. Learn to effectively teach and practice a personal accountability process that will have everyone in the organization making better choices in the moment instead of fostering an environment known for complaining, blaming, procrastination, low morale, poor communication, reduced profits, and lost productivity.

Step 10: Recognize, Praise & Reward Success Consistently
Recognize, Praise and Reward Success Consistently to create an organizational culture that promptly communicates to a person that we like, value and appreciate what you have done. Make it the norm, a consistent new best practice, to share recognition and praise with employees on all levels without fear of diminished personal importance.

Step 11: Chart & Track The Toxic Knot Symptoms
Chart and Track The Toxic Knot Symptoms, often, by checking the condition of your individual and organizational habits and results. Gain insights into the techniques and planning you will need to use to ensure that The Untie the Knots® Optimal Performance Model stays a winning strategy for your organization.

Step 12: Delivering Significant & Competitive Results
When your organization is delivering significant and competitive results — you have successfully institutionalized optimal performance as your present norm. Your organization and its people is now on its way to becoming a Knots Free Champion. Maintain and increase your newfound Knots Free Standard by continuously committing to the Untie the Knots® Process and the raising of the bar for optimal performance.

3. How are UTKHC services and expenses billed?
4. When can an on-site visit be placed on the active schedule?
5. Can an engagement be undertaken without an on-site visit?
6. May I just select individual products and services?
7. What are the daily and hourly rates?

How does a typical engagement begin?
An engagement begins with an on-site visit by a senior UTKHC representative, typically taking 1 to 5 business days. Prior to the visit, the UTKHC representative will become familiarized with your company's products, region and competition. During the initial visit the UTKHC representative will meet with company executives and senior members of the management team in both group and individual settings. In addition to these meetings, the UTKHC representative will tour your company's facilities and operations. During these investigative processes the UTKHC representative will gather the information about your company that is required to generate an Initial Assessment Report. The Initial Assessment Report will be delivered in confidence to company executives for analysis and review approximately 10 business days after the initial on-site visit.

[ Back to Top of FAQs ]

How much will the initial assessment visit cost?
The cost of the initial assessment will vary with the specific segment of the construction industry that applies to your company, the location of your company, and it's size. The services of UTKHC personnel will be billed at our standard daily or hourly rates. Current daily and hourly rates may be obtained by contacting the UTKHC office.

In addition to the fees for services provided, there will be a billing for all "out of pocket" expenses incurred during the visit. The "out of pocket" expenses are dependant on the location of your company, relative to Baltimore, Maryland.

[ Back to Top of FAQs ]

How are UTKHC services and expenses billed?
The Untie the Knots® Habits Consulting operates on a retainer basis. For short term engagements of less than 30 days, an advance retainer is required that is equivalent to 50% of projected services and 100% of projected "out of pocket" expenses. The remaining balance is due and payable on completion of the engagement and upon delivery of the final accounting for any incurred "out of pocket" expenses. Please note that should the scope of a short term engagement be significantly changed, an additional retainer may be required.

In circumstances of a long term engagement, the billing and payment processes will be specified in the Engagement Agreement.

[ Back to Top of FAQs ]

When can an on-site visit be placed on the active schedule? >
Once the general scope of work for any on-site visit has been agreed upon, and the required retainer has been received at the offices of UTKHC, the appropriate UTKHC personnel will be assigned and scheduled.

NOTE: Until the retainer has been received at the UTKHC office, all scheduling is tentative. Priority is given to clients that have already paid their retainer.

[ Back to Top of FAQs ]

Can an engagement be undertaken without an on-site visit?
Absolutely, UTKHC will provide any of our services and products without coming to your location. However, billings will still be based on our standard policies and rates.

[ Back to Top of FAQs ]

May I just select individual products and services?
Yes, UTKHC is here to serve your needs. We will prepare a custom engagement proposal that complies with any request that you make. Custom engagements may be based on a single task, project or total company reorganization. To learn more about custom engagements, please contact the UTKHC office.

[ Back to Top of FAQs ]

What are the daily and hourly rates?
The daily and hourly rates for UTKHC services will vary on the type of service provided and the specific UTKHC personnel providing the service.

Generally, for most UTKHC personnel, the rates for services are based on the skill set and experience requirements to complete the assigned work, and not exclusively on the job description of the individual.

For current rates, please contact the InspiraGen Institute, LLC business office.
