Ty's dynamic and energizing training program sessions can go from 40 minutes up to 2 hours long, Half-Day (up to 3 hours), Full-Day (4 to 6 hours), and Multiple Days (from 2 to 5 days).

 

 

1) Untie the Knots®: NO Bullying Allowed at Work
         (What It Takes to Create a Bully-Free, Kind, and Safe Work Environment)

Workplace bullying is a significant problem in today's workplace. Bullying behavior causes other people to suffer shame, humiliation and fear—all of which can affect their non-work life as well as their job performance. Every employee - on every level - deserves the opportunity to have a successful and safe work experience, which is the foundation for doing meaningful, productive, enjoyable, and harmonious team-driven work.

Ty Howard's Untie the Knots®: NO Bullying Allowed at Work exposes the toxic, and often tolerated, epidemic of workplace bullying that devastates the lives, careers, and families of millions, every day. Ty teaches personal strategies to identify the hazard, assess the risk, document the experience, identify allies, build confidence, and stand up to the tormentor — or decide when to walk away with your sanity and dignity intact. He also discusses how every organization can create a complaint resolution process, its legal obligations, factors contributing to workplace bullying, impact of workplace bullying, and why bullying often goes unreported.

Special Note: The majority of Bullying In The Workplace-type of training is directed mostly to the victim, not the bully. In this candid training session, Ty provides one or two segments (depending on allotted training time) that directly addresses and helps the bully to better understand that their unwanted behavior is no longer acceptable at work. He also shares with managers how he would coach a client 1-on-1 who is perceived to be a bully to help them end the negative behavior for good.

2) One-on-One Sensitivity Training for Executives and Managers

One-on-one Sensitivity Training is an important solution in helping a Key Person for whom other training has not been effective. Perhaps they did not positively improve after online training, or they were reluctant to ask questions that related directly to their own situations, and now are accused of insensitivity, harassment, bullying, incivility or discrimination. Ty Howard provides support for your Key Person through an intensive and engaging half-day or full-day training program that is taught one-on-one on-site by him, and includes discussions with management and Human Resources regarding specific allegations and behaviors, the results of your investigation, and your desired outcomes.

Format: One-on-one. This program is updated annually and includes your organization’s policies and procedures, case studies and extensive Q & A. Ty Howard is a seasoned organizational development consultant, executive and leadership development coach, experienced trainer, and skilled facilitator. This program has been successful in reducing hostility or inappropriate behavior in people accused of insensitivity, harassment, incivility and discrimination, increasing their understanding of the legal parameters in which the company must act, and obtaining their full buy-in to the process.

3) One-on-One Sensitivity Coaching for Executives and Managers

When a valued c-suite executive, director or manager is in need of coaching for leadership or skill development, performance improvement, succession planning, or because of a need for a deeper understanding of sensitivity issues related to harassment, diversity and inclusion, cross-cultural awareness, gender awareness, acts of microaggression, or communication, Mr. Ty Howard provides one-on-one sensitivity coaching (and training, if needed) to address the development of each individual with a highly customized and intensive approach. Coaching sessions with Coach Ty are conducted in person, virtually (Zoom, Webex, MS Teams, Skype), or by telephone across the United States or globally with individuals who speak fluent English.

Format: One-on-One.
